CELEBRATION
“The greatness of a culture can be found in its
festivals.”
Baisakhi is a festival of tremendous joy and celebration. Keeping up with the
tradition of celebrating all the festivals with great fervour and gaiety and to
acquaint the students with the rich culture and heritage of India, Baisakhi
celebration was held in Classes Nursery-V on April 12, 2022 & April 13,
2022 with great zeal.
The school premises was aptly decorated to create
an aura of the harvest season. The students of Classes Nursery – II came
dressed in colourful traditional Punjabi outfits. They created beautiful kites
with colourful papers and enjoyed colouring and decorating a ‘Dhol’ in their
own creative ways.
The Primary Wing of the school organised an
‘Intra-class Bhangra Competition’ for the students of Classes III & IV and
Class V on April 12, 2022 and April 14, 2022 respectively to add to the
festivities. The energy of the participants was so high that everyone including
the audience, comperers and judges started dancing to the tunes of Bhangra. The
competition was judged by Ms. Shipra Tangri, Mr. Abhinav and Ms. Pooja
Bhatnagar, the dance faculty of the school. The result of the competition is as
