Interanational Literacy Day
It was an
opportune moment when the students of Classes VI A and VI C of Blue Bells Public
School presented an assembly on the theme of importance of literacy and the
need to remove digital divide on the occasion of International Literacy Day.
The thought and the speech given by students highlighted the importance of providing digital literacy. This year marks the
brave embarking of the school into another year of digital education and
its prevalence in all spheres of life .
It also ushers in the challenges of preparing the young as well as old people
to live and work in the digital age.
The assembly was initiated with an invocation to the
Almighty, followed by school pledge and sharing of thought. The students
presented a well thought skit and dance which reverberated with the topic of
the assembly. It closed on a promising note that we should take strides in
learning new forms of technology wisely and should work towards narrowing the
digital divide, as suggested by UNO .
The audience was mesmerized with the fine
diction and thought-provoking presentation of the students. Ms. Kiran Nautiyal,
Leader, Middle Wing, appreciated the efforts of the students.
