BLUE BELLIANS PAY
HOMAGE TO BRAVEHEARTS
"Our flag does not fly because
the wind moves it; it flies with the last breath of each soldier who died
protecting it.”
This quote truly epitomizes the
gallantry and attitude of all the Indian soldiers who sacrificed their lives
fighting in the Kargil War. Students of class VII A on July 22, 2022, presented
their assembly on Kargil Vijay Diwas, which is commemorated in the proud memory
of the brave heroes who were responsible for India’s victory over Pakistan
during the Kargil War of 1999. Celebrated every year on July 26, the day is
about remembering the brave patriots who laid their lives to protect the
country’s pride against the enemy. Through a mesmerizing skit and dance, the
students delivered the message that our flag is more than just cloth and ink.
It is a universally recognized symbol that stands for liberty and freedom. It
is the history of our nation and is marked by the blood of those who died defending
it.
Respected Principal (Off), Madam
Arpita Acharya addressed the students and encouraged them to feel pride in
being an Indian. As the assembly ended, the entire Sita Devi Memorial
Multipurpose Hall reverberated with the sound of ‘Vande Mataram!’
