LITERACY DAY CELEBRATION
‘Being Literate is Empowering.’
Blue Bells Public
School celebrated Literacy Day on its campus on Thursday, September 8, 2022.
The concept of literacy was elaborated among students in the morning assembly.
A special assembly on
Literacy Day was conducted on September 8,2022 by the students of class VI B.
It was highlighted
through the assembly that Literacy is a matter of dignity and human right, as
students spoke on the celebration of 'International Literacy Day' and presented
poems, dances and songs to bring the point home that literacy is the foundation
of learning.
The assembly was
addressed by respected Middle Wing Incharge, Ms. Suneeta Kaul who said literacy
is the prime requisite for learning and plays a vital role in restraining
population growth, curbing poverty, establishing gender impartiality and a
bright promise for growth.
