Visit to CSIR - National Physical Laboratory, Delhi

Niti Aayog and CSIR - National Physical Laboratory(NPL) , Delhi invited the students Classes IX and XI ( Science Stream) of Blue Bells Public School to visit NPL on the occasion of World Youth Skills Day on July 15, 2022.

It was a very big opportunity for the BlueBellians to interact with the prominent Scientists working on various projects approved by the Government of India. They were lucky to visit different labs like Laser and Rheology Lab, Gas Lab, Wind tunnel lab etc.

CSIR scientists explained about the Use of 6G and 7G Spectrum to enhance communication system, use of white fluorescent material in the tubelight and use Quantum particles in their labs. They also explained about the process of coating of copper or aluminium.

CSIR Scientists explained how Our PM ‘s Vision of Made in India led to the research of special Ink and Paper for Currency Notes to prevent the making of fake currency notes, which were earlier imported from other countries from last 80 years.

They explained about their projects of separating air components from air and how they test various devices that reduce air pollution. They also explained about Wind Tunnel for testing parameters of particulate matter. It was a very good learning for our students that enhanced their scientific temperament.
